Recommend and plan for the adoption of appropriate new technologies. * Ensure Strategic and Enterprise content is preserved into the necessary content (artifact) repositories. * Provide systems architecture direction and leadership to various groups within Information Technology, implementations, and product ownership team; guide and coach teams in the completion of their daily responsibilities and ensure that established policies and procedures are followed. * Provide systems architecture training, guidance and direction to personnel within IT to assist them in their professional and personal development, particularly with respect to mentoring team members in design, technology, and processes and in object-oriented design, system design, and database design. * Foster a collaborative ecosystem that is fearless and tenacious in the pursuit of ITS objectives around delivery, quality, and speed. *Requirements:* § Exhibit, 2+ years experience with SOA solutions: Any of the following, but not limited to: IBM WSRR WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (preferred), H/P Systinet, UDDI, or other equivalent § Demonstrate 2+ years experience with designing SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) solutions. § 2+ years experience and delivery of developed web services-based applications with SOA (Web Services, WSDL and SOAP, REST) § Experience and delivery of SOA governance principles such as service versioning, service specifications, service level agreements § Experience with developing or implementing Web services best practices such as multi-part WSDL files, namespace standards, and compatible interface changes § Demonstrate exposure to implementing RESTFul services using XML or JSON § Experience and delivery using Unified Markup Language (UML) modeling tools to design class diagrams with generalizations, directed associations, and state machine diagrams § Exhibit proficiency with Java § Experience and delivery using IBM WSRR Studio to customize the Governance Enablement Profile business models, classifications, lifecycles, and governance policies § Indicate experience using IBM WSRR, Java, SOAP, and REST APIs from a Java servlet or ESB layer § Indicate experience developing custom Java validation, notification. and modifier plugins for IBM WSRR § Experience and delivery developing Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) flows or mediation flows with Middleware tools such as, but not limited to: IBM Business Process Manager/WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus or other equivalent § Experience and delivery with Appliance based solution such as, but not limited to: IBM WebSphere DataPower (preferred), Layer7, or other equivalent § WebSphere Application Server development experience and exposure. § Minimum of ten (10) years diversified business experience and knowledge required with eight (8) years experience as a software/systems architect, with three (3) years experience as an enterprise architect in an organization of at least equivalent size and complexity, including demonstrated experience with enterprise software, EAI and SOA. Proven experience creating and managing technology standards and governance issues. § Minimum of eight (8) years of diversified technical experience including deep expertise with Java, .Net, Oracle, SQL Server, Unix, Microsoft, VMWare, Active Directory, Lawson, Salesforce.com, IBM Portal, IBM WCM; including experience configuring and optimizing application and database servers and extensive knowledge and experience with object oriented design and mentoring others in architectural principles and design patterns. Experience with Avaya Aura, Witness, and Symposium is strongly desired. § Minimum of five (5) years experience in full system design including relational database design, infrastructure design, OS choices, capacity planning, server sizing, transaction severs, server mirroring and load balancing, fault-tolerance, data integrity, system security, testing, code analysis tools, etc. Experience with data warehousing and data mining is strongly desired. § Minimum of five (5) years experience in managing all phases of complex technology projects including the selection, implementation and support of various technology solutions and applications deployed through the use of local and wide area networks and integration with host-based legacy systems, with a particular emphasis on services based approaches (i.e. SOAP, REST, WOA). § Minimum of three (3) years experience in the financial services industry. § Minimum knowledge in industry leading business analysis, technology and enterprise architecture methodologies such as UML, RUP, TOGAF, OpenGroup, IEEE, ITIL W3C, OMG, etc. as well as common business processes in Finance, Human Resources and Corporate Administration. § Strong project management, time management and organizational skills required, including proven experience with a variety of development methodologies (i.e. waterfall, spiral, agile, iterative). § Proven leadership skills and strong analytical and organizational skills required § Demonstrate written and oral communication skills. § The ability to communicate and influence business and technical teams § Experience with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) implementation and monitoring required. § Strong teamwork and initiative; highly accountable and dependable; ability to multitask and work independently. § Demonstrate hybrid mobile development hands on design and development experience. § Demonstrate social network integration hands on design and development experience. § Demonstrate Big Data / No-SQL hands on design and development experience.
