*SKILL SET REQUIRED:* -
Architectural Review & Recommendations for Advanced Queue on Exadata Real
Application Cluster
1. Review the performance and operation of your existing Oracle Advanced
Queue ("Advanced Queue") in your current single instance Oracle 11.2.0.3
Database for RWS in your development and load environments, that includes:
a. Review your current database configuration;
b. Review your current Advanced Queue set-up and operation;
c. Gathering diagnostic information in your current database, that
includes:
i. Collecting statistics on the performance of the Advanced Queue
through the automatic database diagnostics monitor's automatic workload
repository or Oracle Enterprise Manager; and
ii. Reviewing existing Advanced Queue Database performance as well
as any performance information collected and provided by you.
d. Create recommendations on the deployment of Advanced Queue in moving
from Oracle 11.2.0.3 non-Real Application Cluster ("RAC") Database
environment to your new Oracle 11.2.0.3 2-node RAC Database environment on
Oracle Exadata platform;
e. Up to five (5) person days for Advanced Queue assistance after you have
deployed and configured it in your new Oracle 11.2.0.3 2-node RAC Database
load environment; and
f. Load testing with Advanced Queue in your load environment.
