Role : Tibco Architect Location: Minnetonka, MN Duration : 6+ month Phone or Skype ONLY TIBCO Architect We are in need of a TIBCO Architect to design and implement the middleware aspects of migrating 170 applications to a new Data Center over 6 months. The TIBCO Architect needs to be able to determine and defend "how" the middleware will be designed and implemented. Must be able to work independently. Must be hands on TIBCO Architect who will develop the necessary artifacts (e.g., requirements, high level design, detailed design) and complete the implementation and conversion according to the design and migration plan. The TIBCO Architect will focus on the databases and the middleware for each application that is being migrated. Required Skills · Must have some experience with application/data center migrations. · Must be assertive in chasing down missed assignments, etc. · Must have strong Technical Systems Integration experience including: 1. Strong Database experience such as MS SQL Server, Oracle and/or DB2. 2. Experience in Middleware products such as Tibco. 3. Provide technical support to all areas involved in planning the migration 4. Provide technical support to all areas involved in the staging of the migration 5. Provide technical support to all areas testing the migration 6. Provide technical support to all areas completing the migration 7. Provide technical support after each wave of applications is migrated. Middleware Technical Lead QUALIFICATIONS · Experience in technical middletier architecture and/or engineer level experience in one or more middletier disciplines. (Weblogic, Tibco, IIS, Tomcat, Apache, iplanet) · Understanding of F5's, Loadbalancers,VPN, Firewalls · Bachelor Degree, with a technology or business emphasis, or equivalent education/experience. · Ensure that current and future technology goals are considered during all aspects of project phases. · Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and with other department personnel. · System troubleshooting experience and knowledge of standard troubleshooting methods. · 10 Plus years industry experience with 5+ years in middletier. · RESPONSIBILITIES · · To work in a Middletier Technical Lead role and provide the strategy and direction in the middletier function across supported applications. · Mentors and advises lesser experienced team members. · Assists management in formulating strategy. · Innovatively apply knowledge to solve complex business problems, simplify business processes, or add value to the current state. · Develops and maintains a trusted partner relationship with customer group. · Responsible for project organization and execution and participates in design, assists in vendor evaluation, implementation, and management of multiple projects. · Improves the quality of the operational environment by reducing or eliminating unplanned outages, defects, problems and increasing reliability, availability and performance · Writing and executing effective test and implementation plans for middletier system resiliency to ensure quality and stability · Creating request for change assigned implementations and managing the change process · Verifying the success of implementations and changes · Supporting assigned programs through turnover. · Ensuring system documentation is complete per standards · Executing infrastructure projects and processes against business plan Thanks.
