Title: .NET Architect - Developer Contract Duration: 12 months + Location: Long Island City, New York Minimum Requirements: - Architect and Develop distributed and scalable web based applications. - Take ownership of the technical solution from start to finish (design/architect through development and unit testing). Act independently to expose and resolve problems. - Create and maintain documentation for technical designs using flow charts, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, data flow diagrams, database schemas, descriptive software component, and wireframes. - Develop software in a hands-on capacity by writing ASP .NET MVC source code (C# & VB.NET), JQuery, JSON, KendoUI , design and develop the databases using Oracle 11g APIs, and integrating the developed solutions with Microsoft Server software platforms such as SharePoint. - Hands-on working experience of TFS and continuous integration is desired. - Work closely with technical project managers and application directors to ensure that client expectations are met and that project schedules are adhered to. - Develop applications in high-pressure and time sensitive situations. - Build and enhance enterprise service-oriented architecture with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services. - Interact with end users for requirement specifications, perform analysis, design solutions, write specifications, code and test solutions, write user manuals, and training. - Hands-on working experience with PowerBuilder, SharePoint and IBM Rational Clearquest is desired but not required. Description: Phase I - Understand existing functionality in Fleetwin application. - Understand E-ZPass enhancements requested in Fleetwin application. - Understand IT Operation processes and procedures. - Write technical documents - Architect eFleet application for ASP .Net MVC. - Develop eFleet application (Phase I). Phase II - Continue eFleet development - Write User Manual - Develop deployment strategy and packages/scripts for UAT and production. - Support UAT and fix bugs reported in UAT - Assist in user training. Phase III - Assist in post production support. - Architect rewriting Fleetwin application to ASP .Net MVC (Phase II). - Write technical documents to merge Fleetwin to eFleet. - Develop eFleet Phase II.
