*Job Description:*



We are looking for a mid to senior level Business development executive,
who will

help support the  team in business development activities.

The position will primarily focus on 4

areas

1) Relationship and Contacts Management,

2) Opportunity tracking and Market intelligence,

3) Proposal Support and

4) Branding and Promotion. Job responsibilities include, but not limited
to:



 Identify and develop strategic relationships with partners, potential
customers, and existing

clients.

 Develop, analyze, and implement marketing and business development
programs; and adjust

strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.

 Develop business development collateral and presentations along with the
technical team

members for proposal responses as well as other client pitches.

 Develop and maintain pipeline of opportunities, new customers, and
projects in accounts

through direct or indirect customer contact.

 Perform market, client, competitor research, and other projects using
various databases.

 Identify cross-selling opportunities across existing customers and other
business development

opportunities.

 Support proposal development, including drafting, editing, assembling,
and submitting

proposals, and tracking results.

 Coordinate and plan client events, develop targeted mailing lists,
materials, and develop call

plans.

Requirements: The position requires an individual who has good knowledge
and experience within

the health industry, and business development experience in federal
contracting. The individual must

be a good team player who can drive business development strategies working
with the technical

teams. Good influencing and negotiating skills are necessary.



 The candidate must be proactive, have a positive and confident approach
backed by

tenacity and commitment.

 Excellent writing, editorial and proof reading skills are essential.

 Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with attention to
detail.

 Excellent client service and communication skills.

 Proven ability to make compelling and persuasive presentations.

 Ability to handle stressful situations, to make decisions, and adapt to
changing work situations

effectively.

 Demonstrate a willingness to work flexible hours to meet deadlines if
required.

 A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.





*Education and Work Experience: *

 Education and Work Experience

 3+ years of experience in health IT industry and civilian/defense federal
government

contracting. (e.g., NIH, FDA, CDC,CMS, DoD, VA etc).

 Experience with proposal development is necessary and proposal writing
experience is

desirable.

 Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.

 Advanced MS Office Suite skills are required.
