Position: Application Integration Coordinator (AIC)

Location: Madison, WI

Duration: 6 month

Hours per week: 40

Contractors Needed: 1



*Role / **Description*: We are seeking a strong technical lead with Java
background to fill the role of Application/Integration Coordinator. The
Application/Integration coordinator will be responsible for understanding a
specific applications release timelines and how those timelines align with
various environments and releases.  The AIC will work directly with the
project team they are assigned to as well as the Release Coordination and
Environment Coordination teams to facilitate smooth scheduling and
deployments.  The AIC will manage the overall application release timeline
as it integrates with the overall company release timelines.  AICs will
report to their application teams and take direction and leadership from
the Release Coordination team. Please note this is leadership/coordinator
role rather than a development role.





*Required Skills:*

·         Strong Java Technical Lead

·         Strong problem solving skills

·         Strong J2EE developer

·         Strong organizational skills

·         Strong communication skills



*Candidates will need to:*

·         Understand specific applications release timelines and how those
timelines align with various environments and releases

·         Work directly with the project team they are assigned to as well

facilitate smooth scheduling and deployments

*Required Technologies - candidates should have experience with:*

·         Soap based Web service experience -  Both Creating and Consuming

·         JSP, Tag Libraries

·         Database - Oracle, DB2

·         Struts

·         MDB/JMS/MQ

·         JDBC

·         XML

·         XSD

·         EJB 3

·         WSDL

·         Spring

·         Spring JDBC and/or Hibernate



*Required general tools & skills:*

·         Experience working with collaborative/Agile development teams

·         Object Oriented Development

·         Application design

·         Application support

·         Team player - This is an Agile development team, so must be a
strong team player

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Self-starter with good work ethic

·         Ability to complete tasks with little supervision

·         IDE: MyEclipse

·         GIT, Harvest Version Control System experience

·         J-Unit

·         ANT

·         Jboss 5



*Desired Skills*:

·         P&C  Insurance industry experience
