We had an interview on this and got new information in red. This is red
hot!!

Location Redmond Washington area,

Term 6 months to start but will continue for years.

*Need 2-3 Network Scripter to work at Microsoft on a project enabling
Microsoft 360 on Cisco Hardware for foreign governments. Need is immediate.
 *

* Needs to have familiarity with*

- Python and/or Ruby Experience (Motivation: Desire object oriented
scripting experience) needs to be able to: independently design and
implement Python web

services.

- Chef and/or Puppet Experience (Motivation: Desire persons whom
have been exposed to programmatic automation)

- CCNA level network knowledge (Motivation: Desire network
understanding of subnetting, network management protocols such as SSH /
SNMP / serial console interactions – knows of the existence of routing
protocols and what they do but they don’t need to be strong on the details
at the protocol level) need hands on Cisco IOS CLI and network theory
experience.

- Linux experience (Motivation: Almost all modern network

- Knows how to use either VI or Emacs editors (Motivation: Sanity
checker – if they don’t know either then they haven’t any of the above)

- Used HPNA application to automate network administration
