[email protected] Job Title: Technical Network IT Project Manager Duration: 1-3 years Interview: Phone/Skype Location: Fairfield, CA Must have: Have to have worked in a Datacenter, Telecom, PM, CISCO *Responsibilities:* · Require PM to actively manage, engage, own every stage of network projects and drive all project related tasks to completion · Partnering with Network team and work with cross-functional business units to understand project scope, requirement, timeline, and dependencies for each project flowing through the organization · Demonstrates advanced knowledge and technical competence in Network and Data Center technologies including Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery · Exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance with broad scope and high complexity · Responsible for leading one or more projects typically between $100,000 - $5,000,000 · Clearly defining and communicating roles, responsibilities and expectations for all members of the project team · Obtaining and defining staffing requirements and forming project teams · Independently planning all associated work to meet project goals · Recording, tracking and communicating issues, risks, changes, and status reports within a PG&E standard tool · Accurately and consistently forecasting project resource, material and contract costs within a standard PG&E tool(s) · Monitoring critical project milestones, and identifying ways to resolve schedule issues · Assessing project performance and implementing changes as necessary to ensure the projects remains within specified cost, schedule, scope and quality objectives · Communicating status of all projects to stakeholders and management · Developing and maintaining a productive working relationship with project sponsors, vendors and key clients · Preparing all project documentation for closure, storage, and possible auditing activities, ensuring technical accuracy · Coordinating any required contract work within defined PG&E policy · Demonstrates a high level of expertise in a number of the following areas: testing, project management, related Lines of Business, development, SOX compliance, regulatory compliance, operational/disaster recovery, operations, maintenance, etc. · Able to work on flexible schedule for clearances and maintenances that require off-hour support · Conducting site visits as necessary Minimum Requirements: · Solid understanding of Telecomm, Networking (WAN/LAN), TCP/IP, and Data Center technologies · Advanced understanding of project management principles and methodologies · Understanding of business, and IT strategies and objectives · Workforce planning and resource management skills · Ability to function and manage in a matrixed environment · Excellent communication (oral and written) and collaboration skills · Team player, flexible, energetic, diplomatic, strong leadership, analytical ability and judgment skills · Proficiency in negotiation and risk management · Skilled in using the following programs – HP Project andPortfolio Management Center (PPMC) , IT Methodology, Microsoft Office Suite BA/BS in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or equivalent experience *Regards* *BIJAY* *Techwire Solutions, Inc* 101 Hudson St, Suite # 2100, Jersey City, NJ 07302 USA Phone: 201-884-6602|| Email: [email protected] || Web: www.techwiresol.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
