REQUIREMENT DETAILS:* *Position: QA with strong QTP* *Duration: 6+ months * *Location: Glenview, IL* *Local Consultants required* *Interview: face-to-face * *Rate: $45/hr* *General* Responsible for development and execution of automated test plans for IT applications. *Job Description* · Design test plans and cases to comprehensively and efficiently test conformance to business and technical specifications and IT standards · Utilize QA management and testing tools (including automated testing tools) to set up and execute test cases · Create and maintain test data and environment required for executing test plans and cases · Document and communicate test results and metrics · Track defect status, work with developers to reproduce and resolve defects, and execute re-tests and regression testing *Requirements* · 5+ years of IT Quality Assurance experience, including full system life cycle (unit, integration, system, performance, regression testing) · Experience with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies · Proficient in QTP as the primary automation test tool. Knowledge in Selenium is a plus. · Experience in following an established automation framework and coding standards. · Experience in QTP customized reporting process. · Experience in IBM mainframe and web based application environments · Experience with QA management and automated testing tools (HP tools such as QTP) · Experience implementing IT system development and QA standards, procedures, and documentation requirements · Excellent organizational and project management skills · Experience in “Order Entry systems” is a plus. · Experience in “Warehouse Management systems” is a plus. · Experience in HP Quality Center software administrative activities such as version upgrade and patch application is a plus. · Strong analytical and communications skills, ability to lead and work with teams, and ability to keep on schedule in fast paced development environment *Education * · Bachelor's Degree, concentration in computer science or information systems or commensurate work experience *2.
