Role : UNIX Architect 8 months Denver, CO We are looking for one specialist level technology consultant (TC) to perform as a Unix Architect, with expertise across Linux, HPUX and Solaris. Responsibilities include build out of UNIX compute system, operational management, technology implementation, etc. Resource Tasks: Architect UNIX environment, lead operational management, server integration and documentation, vendor liaison. Work with system architects and administrators, project managers, DBAs, developers and management Required Skills: · 8-12 years demonstrated experience as a UNIX Administrator · Strong experience across multiple flavors of UNIX, including LINUX, HP-UX · OS configurations, installations patches, upgrades and management · Experience with scripting of routine processes · Kernal level auditing, shell, korn scripts · Experience with cron, LDAP, transport protocols and backup software. · Excellent verbal, written communication skills and organizational skills · Self-motivated, works well in a team environment or independently. hanks.
