Looking for 2 resources – 1 on the high end of the scale and 1 mid-level



•             Location (city, state)

o             Six Months, starting 7/14 or 7/21 at latest

o             Cisco – Routers, switches, firewalls, wireless

o             F5 – LTMs –including VIP and pool creations, additions, and
modifications

o             Checkpoint – firewall

o             Bluecoat – IPAM and DNS management

o             Juniper – SA ssl/vpn appliances

o             Bluecoat – internet proxy

•             Secondary skills (nice to have)

o             Cisco Certifications – CCNA or an NP is preferred

•             Certifications

o             Not necessary

•             Experience

o             Expert – Ability to understand a complex network with little
guidance

o             Advanced – Cisco Route/Switch configuration knowledge on
IOS/NXOS platforms (required to understand network)

o             Intermediate – Experience with configuring Cisco ASA’s and
Checkpoint firewalls

o             Intermediate – Experience with configuring F5 Local Traffic
Managers (LTMs)

o             Basic – Understanding of IP addressing management solutions
and DNS (preferred Proteus/Bluecat)

o             Basic – Ability to work in an environment with strict change
control policies.

•             Requirement to travel (local locations, intra/inter state,
nationally, foreign countries)

o             None

•             Frequency of travel

o             None

•             Standard hours of work, weekend off/hours needs

o             8 hours a day, may include time shift if changes are required
after normal business hours.

•             Equipment needed i.e. cell phone, laptop, etc. (preference is
for customer to provide the laptop as it adheres to their security policies
and is loaded with their standard image)

o             None

•             Extra responsibilities i.e. carry pager, 24x7 coverage for
escalation, etc.

o             None

•             Customer specific questions to be posed during the screening
process (5-10 max as other questions should be asked during the customer
interview)

•             Desire to convert to a permanent employee in future (if known
at this time)
