Send me resumes at <[email protected]> *Location: NYC* *Contract 6+ months (possibly multiyear) * *Phone+F2F* We need people who are skilled at building and managing an Automation Framework - are hands on and capable with Javascript and one of the following (Ruby/Java/Python/C#). Experience with the following testing environment is required: - Selenium Web Driver and Selenium Grid for website testing. - Javascript development - Cucumber/Gherkin (may consider experience with JBehave and Robot for BDD tool) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts • Write and maintain manual and automated test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on specifications and execute tests • Contribute enhancements to automation framework • Assists in training/mentoring of team members and leads QA activities as needed • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications / Requirements: • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience). • 7+ years of software quality assurance experience. Experience developing software tests for functional, performance and regression testing that include automated, ad-hoc, and manual testing elements. • 2+ years of hands on experience at least two of languages: Javascript/Ruby/Java/Python/C# • Hands on experience in building and managing Automation Framework desired • 2+ years experience with Selenium Webdriver and Selenium Grid • Expert in test automation using Cucumber/Gherkin • Has a good understanding of Page Object Model • Hands on experience with Jenkins or other CI server • JavaScript or CoffeeScript experience at least +1 year – not a must have but highly preferred • Jasmine/Mocha hands on experience – not a must have but highly preferred • Protractor.js/Karma test framework experience – not a must have but highly preferred • Manual/automation testing experience with Angular based or other node.js based application preferred but not required • Hands-on experience with code version systems like SVN, Git • Experience working with databases such as MongoDB will be a plus. • In-depth knowledge of testing Web-based applications. Familiarity with SDLC, quality standards and test methodologies.
