Senior UNIX Server Administrator Overview - Build and support UNIX server infrastructure. Requires primary skills with Solaris10, zones, ldoms, ZFS, Redhat Linux hosted on vSphere, secondary skills AIX. *Responsibilities/Relationships*: • Supports existing systems/technologies in a 24x7 Operation • Work some nights and weekends and on-call rotation. • UNIX platform incident triage and remediation. • Modify and maintain existing server infrastructure. • UNIX Configuration: patching, server builds, package installation, user security, volume/fs administration. • Performs organized system builds, tests, post implementation audits and maintenance to maintain proper system functionality. *Qualifications*: • Associate Degree, with a UNIX server technology emphasis, or equivalent education/experience • 5 years minimum experience supporting Solaris10, Solaris zones, and Redhat Linux operating systems. • 3 years minimum experience AIX and LPARS. • 2 years minimum experience deploying Linux in vSphere environment.
