Role : Network Engineer Location : Columbia, MD Duration : Long Term *Required Skills* · Building and operating Linux Servers. · firewall administration. · VMware experience in stand-alone and clustered configurations. · Demonstrated ability and experience in leading complex IT projects. · Strong IP Networking fundamentals *Responsibilities* · Work with Help Desk, Development and Functional Teams to optimize EIDM infrastructure, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA). · Recommend, design and deploy performance monitoring tools and tune the environment accordingly. · Meet or exceed project SLAs on availability and system capacity. · Participate in Configuration Management · Ensure that daily, monthly, quarterly and annual system sustainment procedures are followed. · Plan, execute and document infrastructure software / hardware updates. · Participate in Change Management control of project assets. · Network Engineer will participate in 24/7 monitoring and triaging operations.
