*Location- San Ramon, CA* *Job Description-* Role Data Analyst •experience with data mining and analysis using SQL, PL/SQL, MS Sql Server, Oracle 10g and higher, Sybase IQ, DB2 data warehouse technology and concepts •Interacts actively with Data Modelers on Mapping documents and design process for various Sources and Targets and the relationship involved in physical, logical design data models. •Maintained development standards and best practices. •Prepared detailed functional/technical specifications, and ETL Design documents from which software applications will be developed and implemented. •Designed Data transformation from Transient to Staging, Fact and Dimension Tables •Extensively worked on SQL tuning process to increase the source qualifier throughput by analyzing the queries with explain plan, creating new indexes, partitions and Materialized views. •Developed, executed Test Plans and Test Cases to validate and check Referential integrity •Work closely with the development team during the development phase of the project to ensure proper Standards and processes are followed. •Implemented various loads like Daily Loads, Weekly Loads, and Quarterly Loads using Incremental Loading Strategy *Desirable Technical / Functional Skills* Assume ownership of identified data issues and risks and provide documented solutions to any sourcing / data mapping / data quality issues and risks •Define and understand source to target mapping and documenting Business Rules / Use Cases to provide the highest quality data to drive an innovative Compliance customer experience •Use appropriate tools and techniques to analyze data collected from disparate systems highlighting useful information to support decision making and troubleshooting within the context of what is required to conduct trade surveillance.
