Must be really good with EDI. They will hire from a phone interview. Seeking Business/System Analyst with extensive EDI experience in the International Logistics/Shipping/Sea and Airfreight industry for an internal migration project. Although, no physical programming is involved, the individual must be familiar with available tools (Note Pad ++, Ultra Edit, Total Commander etc) to be able to analyze data and message structure in different formats most commonly 856, 315, 214, 810, 850, XML, flatfile, EDIFACT. Order management experience is a plus. Individual will be responsible in converting the existing logical map (done in xls) to a new map (also done in xls) but with the new source file. Must understand the process of testing and the concept of source and target file to effectively conduct unit test and UAT. Be able to analyze the test results and communicate any discrepancy to different functional groups in order to find resolutions. Must be familiar with MS Office tools.
