*Title: **DW Business Data Analyst* *Location: Chicago, IL* *Duration : 6 Months* *Local candidates preferred. Face to face interview REQUIRED.* *Job Description:* Document business requirements and UAT needs for the data quality checks we will be building against the M02 and M05 files. Specifically we are going to be capturing issues before the data is loaded by DMIH into the ODS. The BA will work with RMAS application owners and business customers to determine the following: What business and technical details will be in scope for the data quality checks What is the issue remediation process after gathering the information - getting agreement on the process is very necessary going forward. We will also be working on regular data quality checks to be run when comparing key fields in ODS to those in VMS - the same questions apply to this work stream As we go forward into better end-to-end testing, we need the person in this position to be doing the following: Attend daily meetings with ETBS to assist that team coordinate end to end testing - we would want the person in this position to assume that role going forward Working with downstream consumers to understand, document and analyze the impacts of their testing needs on test data setup and on the end to end test cases - we need this person to help link disparate test cases from various individual teams together into a consolidate listing. We would need this person to participate in test preparation and test execution as we develop the automated suite going forward Additionally, considering the amount of change to RMAS that will continue to happen, we need a BA devoted to understanding those changes and working with Mike McGovern to document our needs and impacts from this changes Preferred Skills Required: Position Description: This position is responsible for working on multiple project tasks in support of the requirements, solution design, implementation, and maintenance of analytic solutions; supporting end-to-end analysis development, management, and delivery; interfacing between various business and technical teams to compile requirements and design solutions; providing technical leadership to the team; work closely with customers to build relationships; and continuously gaining a deeper understanding of relevant data and processes to build analytic solutions to meet business needs. Responsible for gathering and assessing business information needs and preparing system and data requirements. Performs analyses and profiling of the data, create detailed mapping documentation including transformation rules. *Position Requirements/Technical Skills* Has deep understanding of healthcare / pay or data, subject areas, and source systems. Must understand data, data relationships at the table and attribute level. Able to interpret measurement definitions, and perform data decomposition. Perform Gap analysis and impact analysis on any changes that are being suggested. Possesses working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and data warehouse, including full reference architecture from data integration, through semantic layer and reporting. Strong knowledge of data and dimensional modeling.
