Send me profiles ; arj...@usmsystems.com *JOB TITLE: SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TEST ENGINEER * *LOCATION: CARROLLTON, TX * *DURATION : 6+MONTHS * * EXP : 9+yrs * *Description:* ● Passionate about software testing ● Experienced in defining and executing appropriate test strategies depending on the given context ● Adaptable ● Constantly seeking new and innovative ways to approach testing challenges Knowledge and experience testing in environments with the following technologies ● Proficient with QA methodologies, software testing life cycle and test automation best practices ● *Experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks* ● Should have very good programming skills in C#, .net, scripting (VB, JS), JQuery, QTP scripting ● Should be very proficient in SQL ● Experience with either QTP or Selenium test tools On the software engineering side we look for candidates with these qualifications. ● Develop and maintain web applications using latest web development frameworks ● Participate in Agile development ● Provide maintenance and support of existing application and functionalities ● Develop web services to expose the application functionalities to external groups ● Write SQL queries of varying complexity per technical specification and design specification ● Learn, suggest, and implement new technologies/techniques ● Take an active part in participating in team discussions *● 5 years of full-time web development experience with ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET>, VB.Net, C#, ASP, SQL Server, T-SQL and Javascript ● Strong Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, web development experience. *● *Experience in creating queries and stored procedures in SQL Server 2005/2008* ● Strong Object Oriented Design and Relational Database Design ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred ● *Experience with at least one Javascript application framework such as AngularJS, Backbone, Knockout.* ● *Proven development experience HTML5 and CSS2/CSS3* ● Microsoft Certification Qualifications / Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required. (MS desired) • *5+ years"™ development experience. *• *2+ years"™ experience working in an Agile SDLC* • *3 or more years of commercial software testing experience of web or desktop applications. *• Ability to influence and drive quality across disciplines • Strong object oriented programming, C# • Experience with the testing tool Coded UI required. Selenium, and Microsoft Test Manager are preferred. • Proven capability in test methodology, automation and test processes. • Strong technical background in testing and designing automation framework in services. Ability to identify areas for improvement and drive test initiatives.
