Client is looking to increase software development bandwidth by utilizing software developer contractors. The contractor(s) will be integrated into the Client Developer team(s) as a team member working side by side with current Client software developers and other team members as appropriate. Client needs staff that can learn and adapt to become productive team members as quickly as possible. We are looking for staff that can work independently and as team members where they will be assigned tasks and asked to complete the assigned tasks on their own. These positions will work with Developers, Testers, Product Managers, Project Managers and the supervisor of Software Development Department. Client SDL utilizes the Agile framework and uses TFS to host its requirements as backlog items. We hold Scrums and Planning and Grooming meetings. It is expected that the contractors will participate alongside the Client staff in these meetings. Any additional staff will need the ability to ask the questions needed to understand the product backlog items to be worked on. The primary project that we are looking to add capacity for is our CLient Server Project. The Client Server Project is a Silverlight based mapping application used in PSAPS (Public Safety Answering Points) for locating and handling emergency 9-1-1 calls among other tasks. Below is a Skill Set Overview and it includes more than just the Silverlight project. An * has been placed by each item below indicating it is important for the Silverlight project. The other skills have been included since there may be needs outside of the Silverlight team. A note about our applications; we provide mapping applications that are built on ESRI technology as a platform provider.
