*Location: Richmond,VA* *Duration: 6 Months +* *Job Description:* •Perform ETL development when needed to a moderate level. •Responsible for having technical, analytical and operational knowledge within the QA area of accountability with specific responsibilities for design, development and implementation of test strategies to mitigate technical risk •Responsible for creating simple scripts in Unix and scheduling jobs in Control-M tool. •Experience in working with Teradata and DB2 for medium to complex queries. •Responsible for the integration, system, and regression testing of software; partnering with project/product management for resource ramp up/ramp down, identifying resources/skills, resource allocation, task assignment/delegation •Maintain schedules and coordinates activities for project efforts while maintaining high quality execution; identifying task dependencies, test schedules, utilization of test environments •Ensures test deliverables are prepared per enterprise guidelines; monitors the completion of tasks within time and cost constraints and ensures that technical and functional objectives are met. •Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. *Basic Qualifications:* •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or military experience •At least 2 years with ETL - Ab-Initio/Informatica development •At least 2 years with Unix, shell scripting and Control-M scheduling •At least 2 years with various project management methodologies, including Agile methodologies and supporting techniques (e.g. Test Driven Development and continuous integration processes), packaged system implementations and traditional specification-driven approaches •At least 2 years experience in testing with a firm understanding of functional end to end testing, system testing, batch processing, user acceptance testing and regression in the ETL environment.
