Position-Sr. Agile Project Manager Duration-6+ months C2P
Location-Duluth, GA ** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*: will be working on an integration project. Need someone who was a prior developer and now a strong senior pm. experience with either - java, tibco or manhattan's wms. Need to have good Agile project management skills. PMP cert or Agile cert preferred. National retail organization is seeking a Sr. Agile Project manager to join their team for a 6 month contract to permanent opportunity. You will be the project manager on a critical integration project. You will need to have strong technical skills. So the client is looking for someone who was a former developer and is now a strong project manager. Experience with either Java, Tibco or Manhattan's WMS is needed. They are utilizing Agile so you need to have experience as an Agile Project Manager. Your team will include 10 plus developers, QAs and BAs plus you will be working indirectly with an additional 50 people on different stages of the project. You must have extensive experience managing multiple highly complex simultaneous projects involving cross-functional project teams within budgetary and schedule constraints. Responsibilities: * Drives corrective actions to mitigate project risks. * Translates business and organizational contexts of projects to organizations overall goals. * Translates for the team the direct business benefits of the project or program to help the team understand business and organizational contexts - The why versus the technical or execution specifics. Skills: * Bachelor's Degree referred. * 5 to 7 years of experience in successful project management, with a progression in responsibility. * Agile / Scrum project management. * Extensive experience managing multiple highly complex simultaneous projects involving cross-functional project teams within budgetary and schedule constraints. * Extensive understanding of Project Management principles, methods and techniques. * Outstanding analytical skills with attention to detail. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Outstanding documentation, organization, time management, and problem solving skills. * Flexibility in response to change. * Prior development background. * Need to have experience with either Java, Tibco or Manhattan's WMS product. * Extensive negotiation, diplomacy and conflict resolution skills. * Sound team building and interpersonal skills required to effectively manage a multi-skilled project throughout the deliverable process. * Exceptional problem solving skills; able to anticipate technical and project barriers and adjust approach based on research and experience. * Experience with Inventory and Warehouse management systems is huge plus.
