Job description below. ------------------------------ *Job Description * Our client is an international financial services company headquartered in Chicago, IL, USA. It provides investment management, fund and asset administration, fiduciary and banking services through a network of 85 offices in 18 US States and 12 international offices in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region. With over $95 billion in banking assets and nearly $5 trillion in assets under custody, it is one of the most admired companies in the world. *JOB SUMMARY* The Transformation Program has 11 stream projects and is ultimately responsible for migrating the OTC Summit platform to the “new” Hedge Fund Services (HFS) Platform. The purpose of this initiative is to process complex products more efficiently through an automated process (example of a complex product is; commodity swops). Right now OTC Summit is having a lot of trouble processing complex product request. It’s a very manual and timely process which is negatively impacting the business. This Program is funded outside of the traditional IT department. These positions are in a group at the Bank called Global Derivatives Operations. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing 5 – 6 projects each and the goal is for them collectively coverall all 11 stream projects for the Transformation Program. The Project Managers need to have experience with following the SDLC process and any other formal methodology experience is preferred. They will also be responsible for status reporting on key deliverables for the various groups and communicating directly with Executive leadership. This project manager will also be responsible for managing a small portfolio of Derivative BAU projects. *Top 3 skills:* • Enterprise Project Management (managing multiple projects at once) • Financial Services experience; working in Derivatives (more specifically OTC) • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) *Job description:* • Derivatives experience (i.e., OTC and Collateral Management preferred) • Solid understanding of Financial Services • Financial Services working experience (worked at a bank or trading firm) • Deliver required project artifacts supporting scope & requirements management, schedule development, project planning, budget management, stakeholder management and quality assurance • Develop plans in MS Project, identifying key milestones, target dates for each task and dependencies • Track issues and risk for each project. Proactively track to milestones and target dates. • Monitor spend-to-forecast to approved budget and report variance through the project governance structure. Escalate appropriately when budget becomes a constraint.
