Incumbent will participate in leading project
priorities/scheduling/allocation for Consumer banking projects.  Lead
development projects, develop code and ensure project deadlines are met.
Recommend architecture, analysis, code review, implementation and support
of application, ASI components and SDB applications.  Assist with risk
initiatives, application documentation and processes.  Mentor and lead 3-4
development resources.


*Job Description: *• Lead project and prioritization of assigned
applications. Hands on ability to Drive technical designs and develop code
to deliver projects on time and within assigned budgets.
• Lead all aspects of Software development Lifecycle in waterfall and agile
engagement models.
• Ensure adherence to architecture standards, risk management and security
policies
• Lead and mentor team members on various software development functions.
• Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of application
deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in
collaboration with customers and other stakeholders
• Produce realistic estimates, work with the Business Analysts and Project
Manager to ensure that tasks are completed within estimates and variances
identified early.
• Actively drive design reviews and code walkthroughs to ensure that
solutions meet the needs of the business and the system.
• Partner with the production support teams to troubleshoot issues in
production and drive them to quick resolution.
• Assist with coordination of code migrations to move code through each
environment (Development, Test and Production) with the code deployment
teams
Technical Skills
• Java, J2EE, Spring, XML, Webservices, Javascript Libraries, HTML5,
JQuery, DB2, Oracle, ORM tools, Websphere, TomCat, Apache.
• Knowledge of client side scripting and javascript libraries is a must
• Knowledge of Mobile Development platform is desirable, not a must
