*Title: SAP Portal Developer* *Location: St Louis, MO* *Duration: 6 months*
*Responsibilities: * The candidate will possess solid level of technical expertise necessary to estimate, design, develop and support applications that leverages SAP capabilities including SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP Java Web Dynpro and J2EE to meet the business and technical/functional requirements: SAP Portal design principles, business packages, themes, branding and configuration; identify risks, issues and solution gaps between out-of-the box versus customized code. The candidate must have excellent communication skills to successfully interact with other software developers, application architects, business analysts and other related teams. A role in this fast paced organization requires that the successful candidate have strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to deliver new features and functionality in a timely manner. *Required Skills: * The following experience/technical skills will be required in this position: o Experience with implementing portal in external facing environment o Development of applications using SAP Portal Development toolsets (NWDS, NWDI, Java Web Dynpro). o Highly developed skills in SAP Portal design, configuration and customization including customizing portal look and feel. o Solid understanding of portal branding, Navigation structure and portal security. o Solid knowledge leveraging SAP Portal iViews, Themes, layout, Framework, UME. o Ability to build custom logon modules on SAP Portal and experience in SSO o Developing web services in portal and consuming these services from applications outside the portal o Exposing UME functionality as web services for external applications use o Document the portal design & Customization and perform configuration that supplements the design. o Knowledge of SAP Enterprise Portal 7.3+, SAP Portal Knowledge Management. o Experience with J2EE applications and J2EE technologies such as JDBC, JSP, Servlets o Experience using business packages in Portal o Solid experience in customizing user interface in Java Web Dynpro according to business requirements o Experience in working on Portal ?Out of the Box? Functionality. (I.E. Favorites, Collaboration) o At least 5 years of proven SAP Portal Customization & Development experience. o At least 1 years of proven experience in Java Web Dynpro o Ability to support a multi-site, multi-country customer base o Ability to manage all facets of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). o Mentor other team members Preference will be given to candidates who meet skills criteria and have successfully utilized agile methods on multiple projects.
