We have a Direct Client Requirement for you and the details are as follows *Position: Informatica Development and Solutions Specialist* *Location: Minneapolis, MN* *Duration: 12+ months* *Required Skills* *Subcon* Position Description: Onshore SME - Informatica Development and Solutions Specialist (primary role) And Onshore-Offshore Coordinator (3.5 + years of experience) - This position is predominantly involved in developing business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software programs. A key contributor to technical problem identification and solution delivery. Performs analysis, design, development, debugging, tuning, and implementations. - Working out of onshore location (US), this person should contribute to the operation and maintenance business success of the data management team, supporting enterprise data warehouse environments, ETL programming and infrastructure, enterprise scheduling, and data quality and availability. *Primary Responsibilities:* - Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities. - Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment - Providing accurate and timely estimates for tasks - Provide support and leadership in production issue resolution - Contribute to team success for data availability and accuracy - Conduct or facilitate root cause analysis and recommend/execute corrective action plans - Conduct code review to ensure the work delivered by the team is of high quality standards - Review the work of others through code reviews and unit testing, as needed - Develop innovative approaches to complex issues - Sought out as expert - Serves as technical leader for assigned areas of subject matter expertise - Work with onshore and offshore team to achieve timely resolution of all production issues. - Coordinate and work with multiple other teams to achieve timely resolution of all production issues. - Work with and Status with Business customers on work requests *Requirements:* - Graduate degree with 3+ years equivalent experience - 3+ years of development experience using Informatics PowerCenter - 3+ years of experience working with Oracle Databases - 3+ years of experience performing data analysis, data profiling, debugging, and SQL tuning - 3+ years of experience troubleshooting issues across a technology footprint Oracle databases, Informatica, and enterprise scheduling tools. - And 3+ years of experience translating customer requirements and desired outcomes to programmatic solutions with a low support footprint. - Unix shell scripting experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (MS Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and others) - Proven verbal and written communication skills interacting with technical teams, business customers, project teams, and management - Should have a valid US work visa (valid for min 6 months or more) and be ready to travel at short notice (if already not in US). *Preferred Assets:* - Experience with Oracle PL/SQL development, Tivoli work scheduler, Toad/Aqua Data Studio - Past experience in an Onshore SME Role. - Healthcare Industry experience *-* *Thanks & Best regards,* Suresh| Recruiter|Oberon IT, Inc. 1404 W.
