Job Title: SAS Programmer Estimated Duration: 6 months with possible extension Job Type : Corp to Corp Experience : 7+ years Location : West Palm Beach, FL Job Description Onsite: On location at the Client's site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work. Description: Our Client, a wholesale electricity supplier and a provider of clean energy, is looking to hire a SAS Programmer in West Palm Beach, FL. Responsibilities: · Leverage and expand current SAS capabilities to provide simulation based risk analytics, allowing a migration from historical Value at Risk (VaR) to Monte Carlo based VaR; · Develop a potential future exposure process utilizing possible changes in forward Mark-to-Market (M2M) based on a distribution of forward commodity prices; · Develop SAS codebase, macros and utilities for data analysis and reporting; · Develop and integrate new or existing applications into the technical infrastructure and existing business processes; · Provide technical or functional guidance to project or work teams as needed within a specific discipline; · Collaborate on an on-going basis with the Business Systems Analyst; · Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, maintain and/or enhance existing or new systems that are reliable and efficient. (VaR “Value at Risk” “Monte Carlo based” M2M Base Macro SQL Oracle PLSQL) Requirements: · Experience with SAS Base programming; · Experience with SAS Macro programming; · Experience with DATA step; · Experience with marketing and statistical analysis; · Experience with SQL programming; · Experience with Oracle PL/SQL; · Experience with SAS Array processing; · Experience within financial or trading domain; · Experience with SAS Risk Dimension (preferred).
