Soft skills: Multi-tasking ability, excellent presentation and analytical skills. Additional context… The position is for a Program Manager for the multiple IT Security projects that has going at this time. 5 to be precise – Compliance, Security Readiness, Sailpoint/ Identity Management, Proactive/ Tokenization, and Stores Security. Each project is being managed by a project manager, the IT Security Sr. Director is also asking for a Program Manager to help manage the inter-dependencies between these 4 projects + all other projects with IT Security involvement. The Program Manager would be required to work to help craft and deliver medium to long-term IT Security strategy through the ongoing projects. Additionally, he/ she would be required to interact with support groups – Portfolio, PMO, IT Finance, and Resource Planning – and manage movement of scope, funding and resources between projects as needed. Needless to say, the ideal candidate needs to have significant experience in the field of IT Security (if not an expert) and needs to have strong stakeholder management skills, ability to deliver effectively in a complex chaotic environment and a thick skin.
