Role Hadoop Lead developer Mandatory Technical Skills • Proficient Big data tools technologies: • Hadoop • HDInsight • COSMOS • STORM • Windows Azure • Should be proficient in writing scripts using: • C# • Pig/Python • Should bring work experience of big data technologies *Responsibilities:* • Gather and process raw data at scale (including writing C#/python/pig scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, writing Hive queries, etc.). • Process unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis. • Work closely with Data Science team to integrate statistical models and algorithms into the production systems. • Develop, Maintain, Test and Evaluate big data solutions. • Support business decisions with adhoc analysis as needed. • Tune Hadoop solutions to improve performance and end-user experience. • Develop prototypes and proof of concepts for the selected solutions.
