We have a Direct Client Requirement for you and the details are as follows Title: GIS Analyst Location: Tulsa, OK Duration: 12+ months Start: ASAP Interview: Phone / Skype is typical. *Basic Qualifications:* *New GIS Analyst:* Exposure to projects with ESRI ArcGIS software and good knowledge of GIS and that software will be necessary. It is always possible a team will want to bring someone in, especially in a business facing role. In this case we split initial expense with you, and if your consultant gets the position the client will reimburse us. Hiring a GIS Analyst to work directly our business users and technology team to ensure GIS applications meet business requirements and operate at sufficient performance metrics. Primary responsibilities will be documenting business requirements, business use cases and test plans. We need someone who can autonomously manage his or her workload with minimal supervision. Role will include: · Provide input and documentation to GIS Manager on charters, business requirements, project estimates/schedules and test plans. · Work with business partners to build and maintain repeatable test cases. · Address questions raised by developers regarding requirements and build & maintain repeatable test plans for code revisions. · Interpret existing IT environment to propose solutions to ensure new applications fit into the Enterprise GIS. · Test code prior to business partner’s exposure, ensuring fewer defects during User Acceptance Testing. · Assist with software releases/upgrades and bring relevant parties together for optimum troubleshooting and resolutions. To succeed you’ll need to have experience delivering enterprise solutions as a GIS Analyst with exposure to the Oil and Gas industry. A key area of expertise will be a working knowledge of GIS and ArcGIS ESRI Software (ArcMap,ArcCatalog, etc…).
