Also need two of your professional references Direct Client Role: MS/SQL Developer Location: NY Duration: 24 Months Interview: Face to face Job Description: Under the supervision of the Director App Development- Data Architecture & State Reporting, with latitude for independent initiative and judgment, serves as Programmer/Analyst performing responsibilities for supporting the App Development- Data Architecture team in the design, implementation, enhancement, maintenance and integration of all student data in support of application Development project utilizing Microsoft SQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Responsibilities: 1. Collaborates with other team members to define & analyze requirements 2. Performs data mapping, and develops the Stored procedures / Web Services for execution of that design. 3. Performs data mapping, transformations and conversions and develops the SIS jobs for execution of that design 4. Prepares technical designs, performs code reviews, debugging and testing 5. Works in a collaborative development environment, providing assistance & technical guidance to fellow team members Qualification Requirements: Minimum: 1. Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of applicable work experience as a Programmer/Analyst with the MS/SQL server including SSIS 2. Experience in performance tuning of MS/SQL queries and batch jobs 3. Experience with QA and data quality practices 4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, for both technical and business audiences 5.
