They are looking to migrate to Linux Systems. Responsibilities: · Resolve incoming incidents through enterprise incident management system · Determines and resolves problems pertaining to server hardware and software · Support installation of new services and systems · Assists other group members · Documents problems and fixes for hardware and software issues · Plans, schedules and tracks work related activities with work orders and inside of enterprise project management system · Handles all other ancillary duties as they apply to the support of the enterprise Qualifications: · Significant expertise with Windows Server operating systems (Windows 2003 Server, etc.) as well as experience with Unix/Linux administration · Significant expertise with design, administration, and maintenance of an Active Directory domain · Knowledge of help desk procedures and practices (Remedy experience a plus) · Significant expertise with enterprise-class server hardware. IBM hardware experience is a plus, as we are mainly an IBM shop. · Significant expertise with Storage Area Networks (SANs). EMC storage array experience is a plus. · Excellent Communication skills · Excellent Time management · Advanced Computer skills · Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment · Willingness and passion to develop as a Systems Administrator in one of the fastest growing and most dynamic IT environments in the state · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar discipline with 5 years experience or 7 years equivalent experience.
