NO H1'S* *Emphasis on supporting Site to Site VPN connections.* This candidate will work with a group of 10 network engineers who design, implement, and maintain enterprise wide Internet services, Web Hosting environments, employee VPN and remote access environments, data center infrastructure, and connectivity to all third party organizations outside the client's corporate environment. The engineer will interface with client businesses and external organizations to gather project requirements and implement network solutions to meet business requirements. *The engineer is responsible to:* · Build site to site VPNs with external organizations · Request and validate all firewall rules with Security Operations · Manage all hardware in functional environments related to these connectivity options. · Provide network engineering support for corporate projects involving private WAN and VPN connections to third party locations. · Order network equipment and data circuits · Configure and install network equipment · Work with the Telco's to test and turn up data circuits *Engineering tasks include:* · Configure, document, and maintain Site to Site VPN connections using Cisco IOS. · Understand firewall systems and submit firewall policy change requests as needed. · Understand Telco Services and submit circuit orders. · Work with Telco Carriers to turn up new circuits. · Load IOS, configure, and install network hardware including Cisco routers and switches. · Document the network design and supporting information using Visio drawings, spreadsheets, and databases. · Adhere to Corporate Change Control Procedures. · Provide 3rd level support for installed WAN and VPN infrastructure. *Required:* · 4+ years configuring, installing, and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches. · 4+ years configuring Cisco switches with layer 2 and layer 3 VLans, trunking, and high availability options. · 4+ years working with global Telco companies turning up and troubleshooting circuit installations including Private Lines, AVPN, PIP, Frame Relay, ...etc. · 3+ years configuring IPsec Site to Site VPN using Cisco hardware and IOS. · 3+ years using BGP and OSPF routing protocols. · 3+ years knowledge of Firewall operations using Cisco, CheckPoint or other firewall vendors. *Assets:* · Experience working projects and tasks within a Change Management system. · Experience working with content switching and load balancing. · Working knowledge of QoS in a WAN/LAN environment. · Working knowledge of SSL and Client VPN. · Knowledge of UNIX OS and using scripting functions. · Knowledge of TCP/IP and DNS administration. *Thanks and Regards* James | Talent Acquisition - Manager | V.L.S Systems Inc.
