The ideal candidate will possess 5 years of relevant software development experience, including experience with Android, Java, and JSON / RESTful data services. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience in a regulated industry is highly desired. *Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * - Develop creative application functionality for Biolase products. - Assist in development of formal requirements. - Develop and implement efficient software solutions to satisfy those requirements. - Participate in technical reviews of product requirements and design. - Develop initial unit and functional tests to support quality assurance group. - Generates and documents new software for release. - Updates existing product lines as needed. *QUALIFICATIONS * - A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development including Java and Android experience, as well as someone who thrives when working in a team environment. Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline and/or equivalent work experience.
