Be able to put in code descriptions using VB Script. Must have experience doing scripted programming with VB Script and executing scripts. 2. Highly desired to have experience integrating automated testing to augment manual testing. 3. Be able to assist in identifying test cases that are potential instances for automation in UFT. 4. 3 to 5, preferably 5+ years using QTP/and or Unified Functional Testing. 5. Have worked in a .NET/Java application environment. This project is a conversion from Small Talk to Java. 6. Good communication skills Generic description: Responsibilities: Essential Duties/Responsibilities 1. Review requirements with developers and other QAs for consistency and accuracy 2. Create, maintain, and execute test plan, test scenarios and cases against complex software where primary inputs are requirement documents and software logic extracts 3. Enter test scenarios, cases, and expected results in the test management tool 4. Deliver test scenarios and cases on time according to the project timeline 5. Create and execute test sets in the test management tool; analyze and communicate test results from tool 6. Execute complex SQL to ensure data is persisted correctly in databases 7. Create and track defects in JIRA 8. Participate in daily scrums 9. Determine test data needed for execution and identify data gaps in test environment 10. Identify test cases that are potential candidates for automation in HP UFT 11. Write and execute HP UFT automated scripts using descriptive programming. 12. Develop and implement automation frameworks, test suites and tools. 13. Design scalable automated tests across many user interfaces, features and devices 14. Collaborate with your test and developer peers to improve automated testing 15.
