The following product/technologies are also part of the SC DOR environment, but they are not a requirement to apply for this position. Experience in these areas would be a plus: Networking, Security, Automation, and scripting. SKILLS PREFERRED: • Direct experience with Dell Kace appliances desired. • Experience with Application Virtualization/Publishing and VDI. • Direct experience with management of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Servers, print servers, and server/workstation hardware. Job Description: WE ARE LOOKING FOR A STRONG END POINT ENGINEER TO HELP US DEPLOY AND MAINTAIN DESKTOPS, LAPTOPS, CELL PHONES, ETC in AN AUTOMATED AND EFFICIENT MANNER. KEY SKILLS WILL BE IMAGE MANAGEMENT, SCRIPTING, APPLICATION DELIVERY, AND ACTIVE DIRECTORY. SCOPE OF PROJECT Summary: • The Senior Endpoint Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining a secure, stable, and optimally-performing endpoint environment across a statewide enterprise. • Image development and maintenance, endpoint configuration and policy, endpoint standards, and technical solution design and implementation. • Serve as primary technical advisor to the Manager of Desktop Technology.
