Description:
We currently have an need for a Business Analyst supporting the Information
Technology with a primary focus on Excess Healthcare applications and a
secondary focus on primary and excess Property and Casualty Insurance .
The main role of the BA will be to work with our business partners to
develop business requirements to define needs to support a search for
supporting applications in the area of Provider Excess of Loss and Excess
Stop Loss, additionally the candidate would be expected to aid in the
requirements definition of various reporting solutions, data transfer
mechanisms and enhancement requests. Preferably in addition to the
responsibilities noted below we look for the candidate to possess strong
communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Working in an
independent fashion, meeting all company processes and procedures will be
an important component of their assignments as will frequent travel
(approx. 40%).
Responsible for business and functional requirements oversight,
execution; ownership for all functional project deliverables within the
project scope
Facilitate Requirement gathering sessions at various levels and
Coordinate with business users, technical teams and data architect for
requirement detailing
Develops functional specifications and system design specifications
documents
Facilitate Requirement Review and Authorization process
Participate in design sessions & implementation strategy
Project management skills and familiarity
Participation in Business Test Scenario Creation / Review
Documenting a UAT approach work closely with QA lead and Business
Partner Lead
Acting as liaison between other BA,QA, Tech Team and Business Users
Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a
timely manner
Help PM manage in Change Control related discussions
