The consultant needs to be a very strong UI and design person, who can create stuff without a very tight specification. Client team will be working interactively with the consultant building out different views or scenarios. The consultant needs to be stationed either in Chicago or Philadelphia. The success of this contract will be the person’s ability to create and design without well-defined specs, working with client stakeholders iteratively. Also, it’s expected the person to be “on their own” i.e. not managed by client on a daily basis, so consultant must be able to thrive without micro-management. >From a technology perspective, following are the requirements: · 5+ years of web browser-based UI development and UX design, including iterative, prototype-driven approaches · Fluency with JavaScript/ECMAScript, HTML5, CSS and modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE10+) · Working experience with advanced JavaScript MVC frameworks such as *Angular, Backbone, React, etc*.
