Conducts technology and network assessments, including solutions to enhance or create new business opportunities, integrating multiple technologies. Serves as the highest level voice and/or data network consultant to internal clients and technical management in all areas of the business to ensure conformity with corporate network architecture. Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff.: 10+ years network engineering experience. Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm *Additional Job Details:* This contractor will join the *Data Center* Connectivity Services team in N*etwork Services* in one of the following locations: Chandler AZ, Charlotte NC, Des Moines IA, Minneapolis MN. We are looking for candidates who will work in the office during normal business hours and work from home during their evening implementations only. Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Support network routers and switches within Wells Fargo's network environment, execute change via the WF change control process, assist on mitigating risk for the enterprise by proactively addressing capacity problems or any network related issues, participate and/or lead enterprise level projects from an engineering perspective, responsible for creating/updating network designs, responsible for designing, implementing and testing and research and implement industry best practices. *Minimum Qualifications**: * Four year degree plus *7-10 years experience*, Enterprise level routing and switching experience, * BGP / OSPF experience, * * Spanning tree and other layer 2 switching experience, Layer 3 routing experience (6500/4500 series), Network design/documentation experience, * Ability to work effectively in a team environment. *Preferred Skills**:* CCNA, CCNP or CCIE certifications.
