(AIC) will cover all expenses to St Louis.* Currently seeking BI Reporting Analyst with an intense curiosity about data and has a strong ability to practical problem solving to serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet business needs. *In this role you will:* · Elicit requirements from the business community. · Translate traditional cross tab and banded reporting to insightful, layered data visualizations that guide the reader to insights. · Iterate requirement views in Tableau to develop the final report/dashboard. · Cross train and mentor others in design practices and software features to help the community to produce and support Tableau reports. · Analyze data and find inconsistencies and errors and help to resolve them. · Transform ad hoc, manually intensive processes into streamlined, repeatable, accurate automated reports that ensure data integrity and methodological soundness. *Required skills:* · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or computer science. · 2-4 years’ experience with business intelligence reporting. · 1 or more years’ experience in Tableau to develop, disseminate and administer high quality dashboards. · Strong data analysis skills using SQL, including the ability to design and create high performing views. · Ability to tell stories using data and communicate complicated ideas simply. · Ability to mentor the business team in understanding, using, and championing the Tableau tool for its business value. · Experience working in a fast paced, agile environment. · Ability to get to the heart of complex issues and develop solutions to business problems with very *limited guidance*. · Collaborate and communicate well with a team. · Industry experience in consumer packaged goods is a plus. · Business Objects reporting experience, a plus *Thanks and Regards* James | Talent Acquisition - Manager | V.L.S Systems Inc.
