Main objectives are to translate overall business strategy into IT roadmap, align overall architecture with business needs, and establish target architecture and standards for the organization, including all key horizontal domains (Application, Data, and Infrastructure). Provide overall governance, guidance and architecture leadership for the Corporate Systems (Oracle EBS -Financials, and other systems) capabilities by influencing business and IT teams using conceptual and practical design artifacts. Create/maintain domain specific architecture roadmaps, health check scorecard(s) and solution review assessment reports for the program. Work in partnership with Andre Leuven to build EA framework. Core Enterprise Architecture · Provide senior level expertise on overall direction, guidance, definition, decisions, and priorities regarding the enterprise's overall architecture to effectively support the corporate business strategy · Research, analyze, design, propose and deliver solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies · Interface across several business areas, acting as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects · Strategic Planning & Roadmaps for Corporate IT Systems · Accountable for establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise · Assists in the development of and manages an architecture governance process · EA Experience & Responsibility · Ensure alignment of our client’s enterprise architecture to company business strategy. · Experience with development of enterprise architecture roadmaps · Interface with our client’s IT to participate in creating program solutions and technical plans · Create, document and maintain enterprise wide IT architecture vision, responsible for defining IT technical strategies and roadmaps · Develop and maintain cross system architecture models, views, and documentation (service catalogs, technical inventories, system landscapes, etc.) · Support Business Leads to align business systems strategy with IT technologies and future solutions · Provide the IT architecture assurance/conscience for our client’s IT enterprise · Investigate and propose technology strategies that can better support the our client’s business strategies · Set standards/guidance for regulatory compliance, technology use policy, systems security, and best practices. · Develop and maintain relationships with our client’s business and technical staff, IBM GS key points of contact, and leadership to strengthen cross region views and align strategies · Excellent written and verbal communications, with technical and non- technical people at all levels of the organization · Excellent organizational skills , good documentation and training/knowledge transfer experience · Solid technical skills in Oracle Technology Stack, WebLogic/Oracle SOA Suite/ Oracle DB · Technical Architecture, JAVA/JEE, SOA, Open Source Frameworks, Data Modeling, Web 2.0 · Process Excellence, Software development life-cycle, Software maintenance and support, Software infrastructure management *Preferred Skills & Abilities* · Experience turning research ideas into actionable designs. · Knowledge of the real world experiences associated with emerging application technologies/approaches and their application in the insurance industry · 5 - 7+ years of enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, and system design experience · 2+ years of enterprise architecture leadership, leading major enterprise architecture delivery in key business areas · Advanced degree in a relevant field is desirable *Other Skills* · Experience in operationalizing Enterprise Architecture, Architecture Governance, and Architecture Leadership · Experience with distributed, shared responsibilities, enterprise architecture teams · Strong business acumen and mindset, high personal maturity to interact with senior people within the organization · Very good team player who is skilled at building up and managing stakeholder relationships successfully · Highly self-driven personality and ability to think “out of the box”; using one’s own initiative to drive · Ability to build credibility quickly with key internal and external audiences Thank You Sharon |Senior Recruiter | V.L.S Systems Inc.
