*Rate: $68/hr*



The Agile Coach (EAC) is an expert in Agile methodologies and techniques,
and is also adept at change management through influence and facilitation.

This role actively works with all areas of the enterprise to transform
teams to become self-organized and high performing.

Additionally, the Agile coach fosters agile adoption with the ultimate
objective of delivering software faster, cheaper and of higher quality.



*Key Areas of Responsibility*

   - Participate in the development and delivery of Agile and other
   supplemental training curriculums in support of all active projects
   - Demonstrates in-depth expertise in Agile methodology and best
   practices Recommends process improvements to increase team productivity
   - Provides leadership, direction, and consulting for project in
   alignment with APMF
   - Provides guidance to teams on Scrum values, practices, and rules
   - Coach and mentor all roles within Scrum
   - Coach Scrum Masters in strengthening capabilities
   - Assist and support Scrum teams in resolving conflicts through
   training, education, and influence
   - Evangelize, encourage, and promote Agile transformation and
   organizational change
   - Remain current in Agile development industry practices through active
   involvement within the Agile Community
   - Identify and communicate improvement areas, deficiencies, and APMF
   Non-Compliance issues; escalate as needed
   - Help create a sustainable, continuous improvement culture and process;
   identify and drive improvements in supporting team commitments



*Qualifications*

   - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent
   work experience
   - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certified Scum Professional (CSP) or
   Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Certified Scrum Coach (CSC)
   - 6+ years of experience leading project teams with Scrum methodology
   - 3+ years of Agile Coach Experience
   - 10+ years of broad IT experience such as SW ENG or Project Management
   - 15+ years of broad IT experience such as SW ENG or Project Management
   - Coach/mentor teams on how to improve code quality and productivity per
   the Program's mission
   - Coach/mentor teams so they increasingly meet their commitments at
   sprint, release, project levels
   - Coach/mentor scrum ceremonies such as release planning, sprint
   planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives
   - Coach/mentor Product Owners to consistently maintain a healthy product
   backlog in terms of grooming and prioritization to deliver optimal business
   value
   - Coach/mentor scrum masters on how to build team cohesion and foster
   good communication among various development teams
   - Assist in the creation and/or optimization of processes and procedures
   with input from other product development teams through scrum of scrums
   - Maintain expertise in the application and use of systems, tools, and
   processes within the department's scope
   - Maintain a working knowledge of multiple products and system
   integration applications; able to assess and analyze changes and impacts to
   products
   - Support an open, learning, and progressive environment to allow the
   teams' exploration of new solutions
   - Counsel functional managers on the right mix of personalities and/or
   skillsets in creating or adjusting team composition
   - Coach team on effective agile estimating and planning techniques
   - Monitor team performance and escalate any areas of concern to
   management
