Location: Naperville, IL Process: Phone and F2F Duration: 6+ months *Summary:* The Quality Assurance Senior Analyst (QASA) will be responsible for testing (Manual & Automation) Product Development Initiatives in Agile environment. The QASA testing position will be responsible for performing data quality audits, functional, System Integration and User Acceptance tests within the context of our client’s Product Development Initiatives. The QASA will work primarily with the Product Development staff and will be expected to apply thorough testing practices for applications, products and client systems. Developing and documenting test plans, test cases and test execution are essential aspects of this position. The QASA will additionally, and as appropriate, be expected to help advance and build out client’s testing and quality assurance capabilities as key responsibilities. *Qualifications* • Must have solid experience with Selenium test automation (UI). • Must have solid experience with both SQL statements and UNIX commands. • Must have solid experience with Web Services/API (Restful Services) testing. • Experience with Agile software development methodology. • Must be able to use Toad or equivalent Query tool. • Must have sound experience in data quality analysis. • 6 or more years of Quality Assurance experience including Business/Technical requirement analysis. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. • Accredited Quality Assurance certification a plus. • Must have experience/exposure to BDD/TDD process. • Must be familiar with manipulating Big Data using open source tools. • Must have experience with interpreting data models and schemas. • Must have experience with performing rapid root cause analysis on found defects. • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence and FitNesse a plus. • Sound testing within a Technical development environment on complex business applications. • Knowledge/Experience of SVN (Subversion), CVS, Maven or equivalent. *Responsibilities* • Test Design: Test strategize, test plan and test case creation in providing test coverage across various products, systems, and platforms • Agile Development: Understand and practice QA functions in an agile development cycle using Scrum process. Conduct early project scoping and collaborate with cross-functional teams in identifying testability goals across n-tier platforms. • QA Best Practice: Stay abreast of industry test tools and best testing practices while making significant contributions to the development and deployment of various project releases.
