We currently seeking a *Sr. XML Developer* to support USPTO initiatives as part of the IDEAI-2 (Infrastructure, Design, Engineering, Architecture and Integration) program in *Alexandria, VA* Duration: Long Term Start Date: Immediate Location: Alexandria, VA *Job Role:* · Analyze functional and non-functional business requirements and translate into technical data requirements to create and update XML resources (XML DTDs, XML Schemas, XML documents, and Schematron). · Create XML resources, ensuring adherence to XML standards and practices implemented at USPTO. · Facilitate XML resources review sessions ranging from information gathering to XML schema and XML document validation and creation. · Create or review and provide feedback on the data architecture sections of the System Design Document (SDD) for development efforts. · Provide XML design and requirements analysis support to development teams. · Provide process improvement recommendations to the EDAD. · Provide technical advice and prepare technical documentation on XML related trends, issues, and tools, as requested.
