*Greetings from VLS Systems..!* Below is the requirement with our client and kindly review the details as below and if you feel interested in the job position please send me a copy of your updated resume along with your details.. *Job Title : Project Manager* *Location : Albany, NY* *Duration : 6+ Months* To facilitate a Data Center Consolidation effort, we propose to coordinate all activity regarding the consolidation through this position including but not limited to: Communications Plan creation and maintenance, Network Architecture and Design, System Identification, Vendor Communications, Migration Planning, Test Coordination, Migration Scheduling, Reporting and Security Review. Concurrently, we have internal project managers for our mainframe capability and for our distributed system capability. The Data Center also has a project manager assigned to the task. This proposed position will coordinate with all the aforementioned projected managers. *DAILY TASKS* During the project defined above, the consultant will serve within the Project Management Office of the Human Services Cluster and will be performing and responsible for, but not be restricted to, the following: 1) Communications Plan creation, maintenance and distribution 2) System Inventory creation, maintenance and distribution 3) Migration Plan creation, maintenance and management 4) Vendor Coordination 5) Network Architecture and Design coordination, validation and approval 6) Test Coordination 7) Management Reporting *Minimum Requirements:* · 84 months project management or Major IT organization experience working with government entities that required development of project scope statements and management of project scope, risk and issues. · 36 months experience in the development and maintenance of project schedules and weekly progress reports. · 36 months experience managing IT development projects working directly with database support organizations. · 48 months experience managing, designing or organizing data center operations experience including server logistics, operating system management, network design and maintenance, staffing and storage network support · 24 months experience managing IT projects related to disaster recovery operations, design and logistics · 36 months experience working within a NYS IT Agency/Organization *Thanks and Regards* James | Talent Acquisition - Manager | V.L.S Systems Inc.
