*Role:  NOC Engineer / Analyst*

*Location: Cheyenne, WY*

*Duration: Contract or C2H o FTE (all options are available)*

*Description: *



Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:



•     Thoroughly and accurately understand alerts / issues and follow
through resolution.

•     Provide single point of contact duties for high-risk & service
impacting events.

•     Open and refer trouble tickets to the appropriate level of support.

•     Escalate network problems both internally and externally.

•     Answer and manager triage hotline during off hours.  Determine
severity level and execute standard escalation procedure.

•     Assist ITSD Service desk during off hours with Tier 1 support tasks,
i.e. reset passwords.

•     Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask and
prioritize.

•      A successful NOC Analyst will have the following:

•     Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent required.

•     6 months – 2 years of previous Network Operations Center or related
support experience.

•     Background in Windows/Unix server platforms.

•     Experience in infrastructure monitoring and management tools.

•     Base knowledge in networking and system connectivity.

•     Excellent communication and “attention to detail” skills, with an
eagerness to provide outstanding customer service to internal and external
clients
