Thanks! *Position: Sr. Java Team Lead* *Location: Englewood, CO* *Pay Rate: $50-65/hr* *9 month contract with possibility of extension * This is a new role. As a result of the multiple projects ongoing simultaneously in this group, they need to beef up their team. It’s a Lead role because there are a lot of folks working in this group, and the manager could use some help with driving delivery and some other leadership duties. They will need to be able to communicate with some of the design for the business side. Working across 8-10 different workstreams simultaneously, this person will be expected to do some design work, communicate and articulate those designs with both developers and stakeholders. They will also be expected to be a SME on Core Java development. This role will give people exposure to new technologies, and a variety of them. They’ll be able to work in a very fast-paced and exciting environment. The team is very multi-cultural and has a lot of different backgrounds that you can learn from. Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Training, Education: · A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. · 7-10 years of experience in software development and design. · Demonstrated ability to make strong judgments and work effectively with all levels of clients, management and staff. · Ability to lead both small and large projects in a fast paced environment. · Ability to multi-task and manage multiple, concurrent development streams. · Ability to work within a team. · Ability to Plan, track, communicate and manage system requirements through design to implementation. · Ability to provide highly detailed documentation of projects implemented. · Support and provide input as part of the project team during the design, development, and deployment phases of the project. · Very good written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Technical Skills/Expertise: · Experience applying Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) to real-world solutions. · Very Strong OO Skills. · Excellent leadership, organization and communication skills. · Strong knowledge of Web Services (SOAP and REST), WS-* standards, XML, JSON. · Excellent knowledge of Java language. · Experience with the Mule ESB. · Experience with Agile Software Development Life Cycle methodology. · Experience with Continuum, Maven. · Experience with Linux and Scripting. · Strong Experience with IBM middleware (Websphere, Message Broker, ESB). · Experience with caching products like CouchDB and alternate database technologies like Hadoop, HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB etc. is a plus. · Experience designing systems for high-performance: high throughput, high-availability, low latency, etc. *Top 3 skills and/or technologies:* 1. Java, J2EE 2. Experience with SOA and some OO Skills 3. Strong Web Services (SOAP and RESTful) 4. Strong Messaging Experience *Top nice-to-haves:* 1. Multi-Threading 2. Mule ESB 3.
