The individual selected for this senior Product Specialist / Java Developer position must possess the “REQUIRED” skill set depicted in the technical section of this CAI posting along with strong verbal skills. Ohio Facility Construction Commission (OFCC) has a small software development team which develops and maintains Java applications to support our planning and project delivery functions. OFCC is seeking to hire a Senior Product Specialist/Java developer that can lead a team in an Agile software development life cycle. OFCC is looking for a leader who possesses an exceptional work ethic and a solid passion for Object Oriented Design (OOD) principles. As a Senior Product Specialist/Java Web Developer who will participate in requirements gathering, design, build/develop, testing, and all phases of the delivery. This small development team has two additional Java programmers, and a new business analyst (and possibly a SCRUM Master) that needs to be mentored/coached in the Agile principles. The individual selected for this senior position needs to have strong verbal skills since interaction with the business partners (i.e., Product Owners) is required to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The individual selected will ensure quality software releases with Test Driven Development (TDD) approach. The Product Specialist is the expert for a technical development or execution environment product or set of products. The primary responsibility of a Product Specialist is to ensure the availability and facilitate the productive use of a product for Application Teams or end users. The Product Specialist may own part of a product, all of one, or several products depending on the nature of the product(s) and their use. The Product Specialist requires significant to expert experience and skills in the product supported. The Product Specialist will usually also have significant experience in the operating environment(s) (e.g., HP/UX, NT, MVS, etc.) on which the product is implemented. If the product is one that was internally developed, the supporting PS should also have most of the skills of a Programmer. The Product Specialist is responsible for collaborating with Technical Architecture Specialist, System Specialists, Programmers and vendors to ensure and enhance the use of the product and effect migration to new versions of a product. *Required:* - 10 to 12 years overall IT experience - 8 years of Test Driven Development (TDD) / JUnit - 8 years of Object Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD) - 3 years of Java (V7) - 3 years of Hibernate - 3 years of Spring Framework - 3 years of Spring MVC - 5 years of Relation Databases (i.e., MySQL, Oracle, SQL) - 3 years of Ant or Maven or Gradle - 3 years of Revision Control (Git) - Strong Verbal Communication Skills - 3 years of Agile experience as a lead Java developer - 1 years of Agile experience as a mentor to Agile Business Analyst creating User Stories *Highly Desired:* - 3 years of Continuous Integration experience *Desired*: - 2 years of Jquery - 2 years of CSS/Bootstrap - 2 years of Linux Ubuntu/Debian - 1 year of MongoDB - 1 year of AngularJS - 1 year of Groovy - 2 years of Agile/SCRUM Experience *Regards,* *Monajir Khan* *Techwire Solutions, Inc* Suite #700,1999 S.
