*Must bring Siebel protocol exp. and be able to build out scripts without
templates.  They have templates and examples in house, but others they have
build out the scripts from scratch  *



*Duration is 6 months with extensions.... *



*They will HIRE off the phone, typically a 2 step phone screen process *



Summary

The Performance Tester is responsible for the scripting and execution of
performance scenarios based on the system’s non-functional requirements.
Under general supervision the tester is responsible for performance test
activities which include:  creating performance test scenarios, creating /
maintaining performance test scripts, executing test scripts, resolving
environmental execution / configuration issues, analyzing and reporting
results and data setup and validation.



The Performance Tester will require 2-3 years in performance testing with
HP Loadrunner and Siebel.



Duties and Responsibilities

•             Debugs the development and execution of test scripts against
the targets of test;

•             Analyzing test script failures;

•             Analyzes metrics for performance assessment for concurrency
and transactional volumes;

•             Work with performance engineer to develop the test plan
scope, coverage and objectives;

•             Works within the project team and test team to address issues
and report status;

•             Coordinate test execution with other team members

•             Analyze non-functional requirements to identify and
prioritize test targets; verify requirements as testable

•             Develop test scripts and scenarios to verify non-functional
requirements according to standards/best practices with alignment to test
plan/strategy.

•             Provide estimates to develop test scripts and then build
according to project schedule;

•             Provide quality metrics for test script build, execution, and
defect management activities.

•             Create test data and develop test data pre-requests for each
test script



Job Knowledge

•             Strong oral and written communication skills.

•             Strong Math and Statistical background.

•             Strong C programming background

•             Strong Experience in performance testing in complex
environments with multiple protocols (HTTP, SIEBEL, JAVA)

•             Responsibilities require analysis of variety of complex
options, and ability to make independent decisions on unique or varied
matters

•             Extensive experience developing test scripts and test
scenarios from manual test cases and/or non-requirements specifications;

•             Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills; strong
attention to detail.

•             Experience with various performance testing strategies and
approaches (e.g., stress, load, peak, endurance testing);

•             Knowledge of test metrics and how they are used for decision
support.

•             Knowledge of common programming concepts, practices and
structures;

•             Strong knowledge of SQL and database query tools;

•             Expert knowledge of the HP Loadrunner and HP Performance
Center test tool components:  VUGEN, Dynatrace, HP Diagnostics, Sitescope,
Controller, Analytics, Correlation Libraries
