The application DBA is the application team’s advocate for all database issues relevant to application performance and functionality. A solid understanding of database architecture, performance tuning strategies, and troubleshooting techniques is required. The application DBA will work with three primary database technologies: Oracle, SQL Server, and Mongo DB.
