Rates are negotiable! *SQL DEVELOPER (12 months—) * *Oakland, Ca* *MUST BE LOCAL* Job Description: Work with business partners, IT staff and external vendors to support the technology needs with primary focus on the Ecommerce business area. Provide ongoing technical support to the ecommerce team and participate in the execution of technology projects to support the growing needs of ecommerce business. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop in depth knowledge of company business functions and systems with an emphasis on the Ecommerce business. - Develop functional design documents for development and enhancement projects of varying complexity. - Develop and execute test plans in coordination with vendor resources. - Develop technical documentation in support of system work that is done. - Provide support to the PMO in generating and maintaining the integrated release plans for ecom projects. - Provide ongoing technical support, as required, to support the needs of the business. This includes coding, generating ad-hoc reports, running manual data uploads, etc. - Participate in technical reviews with internal and/or vendor technical teams. Job Requirements: - 5+ years of experience working in a similar role, preferably supporting an ecommerce business. - Prior experience working with third-party ecommerce platforms and fulfillment service providers. - Strong understanding of the fundamentals of web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc.) - Strong working knowledge of .NET (C#, VB), Java and SQL. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Visio - Experience with IBM iSeries a plus - Knowledge of PHP a plus - Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills - Ability to develop and manage to estimates for work activities Ability to develop and present solutions to business problems *Regards,* *Monajir Khan* *Techwire Solutions, Inc* Suite #700,1999 S.
